Jolly Good Sing
Jolly Good Singing in general
Singing has many proven health benefits both physical and emotional.
On a physical level, singing improves our breathing and posture as well as improving the concentration. It also helps listening skills. On a day-to-day level, singing with others promotes an overall increase in confidence, memory and general well-being.
There has been extensive research over the past decade on the benefits of singing in groups and singing has become a recognised therapy in the fields of mental health, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
It is also great fun
